This paper is a law-review analysis that analyzed 111 court rulings that applied Israel's Pupils' Rights Act, 2000 . AERA 2019 theme on Multimodal Narratives to Democratize Evidence is materialized in this piece of legislation that attempts to encompass the rights of pupils in Israel's K-12 public education. The main finding is that legislation that was initially envisaged and intended to support individual grievances between pupils and schools that created an unexpected policy discourse on the right to education, on social justice for disenfranchised groups through case law, and deepened and widened the safeguards of pupils' wellbeing in schools.
