Abstract

This paper describes the creation and use of an interactive joint display for a study about conceptual change in physics education that used a fully integrated mixed methods research design. The dialogue between the quantitative and qualitative data as collected and analyzed through this tool allowed for greater insights into conceptual change than would have been made otherwise. This tool allowed for quick and efficient mixing of the data and yielded rich interpretations of how conceptual change took place for the study participants.
