A national survey of K-12 teachers was conducted in May 2018 in order to examine teachers' usage of various types of technology tools with students in their classroom, and their perceptions about the efficacy of these tools for: a) engaging students in learning, b) increasing students' skills and content knowledge in specific subject areas, and c) developing students' non-cognitive skills. Results showed gaps between teachers' usage of technology tool types and their perceptions about the efficacy of those products for developing students' content knowledge and skills in specific subject areas.
