This study explores the development of trust between teacher candidates and their classroom mentor teachers (CMT) during field experiences. Specifically, the authors use the facets of trust established by Tschannen-Moran & Hoy (2000) to probe the ways in which the candidate/CMT relationship adheres to the framework of collegial trust.
