Rise Up: Fine Arts Attendance and Collegiate Outcomes

Abstract

Using the Wabash National Study on Liberal Arts Education (WNS), the paper employs a propensity score weighting analysis to analyze the connection between attending fine art events and college satisfaction, student GPA, student aspirations towards graduate school, and four-year graduation. The findings indicate fine arts attendance is related to an increase in college satisfaction and four-year graduation.
