Purpose of the study is to examine whether the individual level difference, such students’ background, patterns of ICT usage, lead to the scenario that certain groups of students benefit more from ICT usage in terms of their academic performance over those from other groups. The dataset used in this study is PISA 2015 in China, and the statistical analysis conducted in this study is multiple regression by using IDB analyzer. The results indicate that there is no evidence that students from different socioeconomic status have different patterns in ICT use for leisure/schoolwork in China. In addition, perceived autonomy is found to positively relate to science achievement, and it moderate the relationship between ICT use for leisure/schoolwork and science achievement.
