Abstract

This paper analyzed Chinese preschool teachers' collaborative reflection problems and tried to find a pathway to improving Chinese Preschool-based teaching through action research. Research found that: The top-down mechanism and collectivism culture made true democratic collaborative reflection very hard to achieve. Teachers often paid more attention to building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and sometimes dare not to express their true thoughts and sound advice. In order to solve the problems, four main reflection methods: PTM, MPM, STH,360RM were applied in An Qing Kindergarten in Shanghai. Research proved that using four reflection technology to carry out the collaborative reflection in kindergarten promotes the quality of teacher reflection and creates a democratic and equal preschool atmosphere.
