Use Computer Games to Help Habit Formation: A Report of First Phase Investigation

Abstract

Computer games have been identified as effective tools, social factors and simulation media in framing the behavior along the habit formation. This proposal reports the first phase of our on-going study aims to design and develop habit formation games, purpose of which is to analyze the games that are supposed to help establish habit along the habit formation chain. This study proposes the habit of computer game support training, and evaluates the habits of 23 custom-developed APP games. The result of the analysis would be informative to the design and development of persuasive games undergoing.

Authors
