This study examined the effects of a strengths-based core reflection training among first-year elementary teacher education students with high levels of academic procrastination. The aim was to explore whether the strengths-based core reflection approach (ANONYMOUS, 2013, 2014) would help these students to overcome academic procrastination.
This presentation gives insights into the approach and the effects of this training and build on past research on core reflection (ANONYMOUS, 2013) approach and contributes to the body of knowledge in this field of holistic education. The central research question that guided this study is: What are the effects of the strengths-based core reflection training to overcome academic procrastination on the students’ level of academic procrastination?
