This study conducted a meta-analysis for the effects of computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) on student learning performance. 22 journal articles over a 10-year period (2008–2018) involved with 3378 participants. An overall mean effect size for CSCL was 0.543, which revealed that CSCL has produced meaningful improvements for learning performance. Moderator variables, such as learning stage, domain subject, group size, intervention duration, and collaboration forms were also analyzed.
