Abstract

In the designed learning environment of clinical simulations, we have designed six simulations to approximate the teaching of elementary science (grades 3-5). This paper reports initial data on elementary teacher candidates' science teacher efficacy and their construction of scientific explanations in simulation with standardized individuals.
