Abstract

The goal of this research study is to examine some of the ways teachers are teaching the Civil Rights Movement in the time of Trump. Does their pedagogy perpetuate the conventional narratives taught regarding the Movement? What are the possibilities for a more meaningful and affecting pedagogy of the Movement?
