This mixed methods study focuses on the state of research documenting the experiences of Latinx school leaders from 1980 to present. This review identifies trends, on-going challenges, and future directions in Latinx research. The analysis of the literature aims to provide lessons about how Latinx school leaders have been examined and how it informed the field of educational leadership.
