This mixed-methods study contributes to global education by providing a case study of three courses where faculty assessed the degree to which their students experienced global learning. It contributes to greater understanding of minimizing education inequities in higher education. Data included student questionnaires from the beginning and ending of the course, intermittent reflective student self-assessments, classroom observation, and faculty reflective journals. Preliminary analysis indicates that students vary in their ability to take advantage of the global learning they are being offered in the courses. The area where students most demonstrated growth was in the ability to describe their own culture with greater knowledge and awareness. A main challenge for faculty is encouraging students to engage in their global learning.
