Informed by interview data gathered from 20 Men and Women of Color pursuing STEM undergraduate degrees at four Northeastern universities, this study explores the educational and career-related social networks of undergraduate Women and Men of Color in STEM. The researchers are guided by two interrelated research questions: What are the characteristics of the social networks of Students of Color in STEM? How, if at all, do the social networks, and their subsequent resource exchanges, differ for Women and Men of Color in STEM?
