Developing Leadership Capacity in Master Teachers

Abstract

In our Professional Development System, the Master Teacher Program serves as our most intentional, innovative example of mutually beneficial collaboration to develop and promote teacher leadership at various levels. This presentation provides a brief overview of the two-year program and focuses on presenting qualitative research outlining the narrative experiences of participants within it, their professional growth, and the impact of their projects on students and faculty in P-12 and higher education.
