What Is an Ethical Administrator? Teachers' Experiences and Conceptualization of Ethical Leadership

Abstract

Using Brown and Travino’s (2006) construction of ethical leadership, this qualitative study will explore teachers' conceptualization of ethical administrative leaders and answer the following questions:
1. What are the ways that teachers define ethical leadership for administrative leaders?
a. Do they experience ethical leadership within their respective schools?
b. In what ways does ethical leadership (or the lack thereof) affect their work?
