On-line resources are central to today’s college students. Increased access to wi-fi, computers, and smart devices has made online resources, such as video lectures on YouTube or personal websites that lay out the process of solving a math problem, a core dimension of student learning. Based on semi-structured interviews, this paper presents findings from a study that sought to understand how 20 community college students evaluate online resources for their studies in STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) courses.
