Abstract

Centering the perceptions of Black undergraduate women, the present study sought to examine students' satisfaction with their college choice. Applying an intersectional approach, the present study utilized hierarchical linear modeling to examine what factors predict the likelihood Black women are satisfied with their college choice. Results indicate a strong, significant impact of sense of belonging on perception of return, yet mixed results for campus racial climate and interracial relationships. Implications for administrators, faculty, and staff on how to address the unique needs of Black college women are discussed.
