This mixed methods case study combines egocentric network analysis with narrative methods to show how an open, urban, EdTech innovation network is enacted in different ways per different objectives over time and space. By extracting and presenting the carnival of competing and compelling techno-narratives from this EdTech Network, and by looking at how they problematize educational issues in different ways and enroll human and non-human actors into “more-than-social” networks, we can begin to understand how the “lived fictions” of EdTechers assemble with different technologies to pattern educational innovation in practice.
