Estimation of design parameters like ICCs and R2 values has followed ongoing advances in our understanding of appropriate designs for impact studies involving nested data, which commonly occurs in the educational context. However, only a few studies involving teacher outcomes exist despite the common practice of conducting evaluations of teacher professional development. In this study we present design parameter estimates from a compilation of ten studies involving teacher outcomes. These results show large differences in ICCs and R2 values across studies, highlighting a need for better reporting of this information in the literature.
