Student Accusations and Conventions: Understanding How Students Respond to Changes in Common Classroom Activities

Abstract

Teachers and students are often operating under different assumptions of the conventions surrounding classroom practices. Analyzing student protests to ways of engaging in the common classroom practice of presenting at the board conventions held by the students were uncovered. This study helps illuminate how students my experience teachers bids to change classroom practices.
