Abstract

In this address, Bernd Ruf sketches his Waldorf organization’s global work since 2006 through trauma education crisis interventions in war and disaster zones spanning Lebanon, China, the Gaza Strip, Indonesia, Haiti, Kyrgyzstan, and Oakland, California.. He lifts up critical lessons learned and areas of high need for further research and practice. Mills College’s Diane Ketelle responds with a view from the academy on opportunities, challenges and next steps for teacher and school research and practice.
