Abstract

Stress is manifested in many ways in educational settings. This symposium presents research on methods of assessing and intervening with stress in K - 12 and college settings, including both teacher and student populations. The focus of assessment included measures of coping resources as well as risk for stress. Data sources include local samples, national datasets, and participants in stress interventions. Each of the contributions will focus on a specific aspect of the stress and coping process and will illuminate the unique features pertaining to each context.
