67.057 - Common Worlding Methods: (Im)Possibilities of Post-Qualitative Research

Abstract
This session explores feminist postqualitative research methods within early childhood education in Canada, US, Australia and South Africa. Grounded in a common worlds framework, the contributors have generated relational and emergent methods aimed at addressing and responding to the 21st-century conditions we live with and bequeath to children. Each poster is a conversation between multiple and varied research projects/narratives to share how researchers live and make public the complexities of inquiry in our “post-truth” political era and challenge the dominance of Euro-Western developmental and anthropocentric researching frames as the guides for whose truth and evidence matters. The six multimodal posters are put into conversation with each other and session attendees to discuss the (im)possibilities of speculative enactments of postqualitative methodology-to-come
