Abstract

This session explores the inner worlds of Latinx undocuqueers in the United States. Three scholars share how undocuqueer immigrants experiences more vulnerability than other oppressed communities of color due to their gender, sexuality, and immigration status. The authors discuss how Latinx undocuqueer immigrants deal with issues of “safe” spaces, double exile in education, and coming out of the shadows and the closet.
