This session examines teacher learning and leadership as mechanisms to leverage professional expertise and practice, to develop collaborative peer learning for knowledge exchange, and to inform policy on a larger scale. The first paper presents six years’ of longitudinal research on Ontario’s Teacher Learning and Leadership Program (TLLP). The second paper presents a case study of an international collaboration between schools in Canada and Norway (NORCAN) to exchange of ideas, evidence and practices among students, teachers and school leaders. The third paper presents a case study conducted over two years with the lived experience and narratives of a teacher, school principal and district leader through their learning and leadership in the TLLP, a Provincial Knowledge Exchange (PKE) initiative, and NORCAN.
