Abstract

This panel presentation focuses on programmatic and research information from five researchers and educators in schools of medicine and allied healthcare. Presenters will use evidence from the lived experiences of educators, healthcare professionals and students to present a narrative on developing workforce diversity in the health professions. This cross-boundary collaboration illustrates what can be learned from varied health professional programs as well as making new connections across our often disconnected practice settings. Attendees are encouraged to take an active role in discussing other solutions and interventions that have worked at their institutions as well as specific curriculum or student support systems that are used as best practices.
