Abstract

We are currently living in an era of “fake news,” wherein Trump rejects the knowledge of experts, journalists, and researchers as lies and distortions while simultaneously spreading his own fake news to create fear of the Other. As critical pedagogues engaged in a political project to transform the world this Trump era calls on us to stand up and act as agents of history in solidarity with the oppressed and develop a pedagogy of social and political “truth” and to develop a pedagogy of dreaming that will give us the strength to continue the struggle.
