Session Type: Paper Session

Abstract

Efforts to enhance educational opportunities for both Latino and Black males have the potential to reproduce and/or reimagine the racialized masculinity politics that shape Latino and Black males’ lives within and beyond schools. In this session, four papers will provide the basis for a larger conversation about the current state and future possibilities of the racialized masculinities of Latino and Black boys and men.
