Session Type: Paper Session
Situated across diverse contexts, the analyses featured in this session radically imagine critical-theoretical education praxis for racial justice. By exploring how race intersects with multiple identities and formations--including the Black fat queer femme body, disability-inflected trauma narratives, queer youth space, and state violence--the papers in this session collectively model the need for scholarship that seriously and expansively considers intersectionality as central to racial justice in education.
