Abstract
The papers in this session grapple with the complexities of moving the insights from educational theory to educational practice. The papers broadly engage with prominent themes found in Disability Studies in Education (DSE) scholarship and work to understand how these themes affect educators, the organization of schooling, and students. The papers also highlight the truly interdisciplinary nature of the DSE SIG and DSE scholarship, more generally.
