Abstract
In this session, a series of papers address student engagement in various settings and its impact on the validity of score interpretations. Using various forms of process data, papers range in topics from examining student engagement within a tutorial system, writing Japanese letters, utilizing response time to detect aberrant testing behavior, and detecting anomalies in student responses.
