Abstract
This paper session focuses on teachers’ perceptions of curriculum and school policy. Common themes include: how teachers construct and maintain professional identities in the context of broader policy pressures; how teachers juggle multiple professional allegiances and tensions; how teachers organize and mobilize to resist or enact policy dictates; and, how teachers choose to perceive and engage in policy processes.
