Abstract

In this time of turbulent sociopolitical change, in what ways are students from immigrant and refugee backgrounds being received in schools and communities and in what ways are faculty and teacher education institutions leading efforts to be more responsive to the needs of these students and their families? In what ways is the Canadian government working to receive these students into their local communities and schools? In what ways are teacher education and faculty creating positive contexts of reception for these students and their families?
