Abstract

Doctoral students navigating the academy are often reminded of the importance of establishing a research agenda through publications; the adage of publish or perish. Less often is insight given regarding the publication process. How do you select a journal? What is a typical timeline and expectation for an article to be accepted? How do you stay positive after a revise and resubmit or even a rejection? Join us for a candid conversation with current editors and associate editors of various higher education journals as they share their insight into the submission and publication process. Learn about the different avenues of publication and opportunities available to graduate students and new professionals in the field.
