In response to this year’s theme, “Leveraging Education Research in a ‘Post-Truth’ Era: Multimodal Narratives to Democratize Evidence”, the purpose of this Fireside chat is to critically reflect on the field of curriculum studies. We consider the following questions, what is the purpose of curriculum work in a post-truth era? How do we live out our critical curriculums in the search of correcting injustice? How do curriculum scholars seek out relevant research in a way that is applicable to people both in and out of academia? A panel of scholars will consider these questions in order to engage in active dialogue with the audience.
