Abstract

This panel discussion will feature researchers and scholar-activists from the U.S and Canada who are engaging in policy research and advocacy at various levels of government. Panelists will discuss the nature of their respective work concerning the politics of research funding, curriculum policy, policy advocacy at the state level, and their implications for the democratic ideal and what it means to be a citizens in a post-truth world.
