Syrian War is the most significant recent phenomenon shaping the global migration picture, which has placed the World nations in critical state in carrying out their humanitarian responsibility. In this respect, we aim to compare and analyze policy outlines, challenges and school leadership responses to Syrian refugee education in 3 different countries as Turkey, Lebanon and Germany, drawing on the post-migration ecology developed by Anderson et al. (2004) and the cognitive approach to policy implementation (Spillane, 1999; Spillane, Reiser, & Reimer, 2002). We utilized comparative phenomenology within the realm of qualitative research (Cheong, 2000). Each has their challenges in policy, practice and leadership mainly related with socio-cultural and policy differences. Findings will be discussed comparatively during the session.
