The students in the class were divided into two groups: experimental and control group. The experimental group was taught first aid (resuscitation) involving practical experience while the control group was taught the same topic using expository method of teaching. The class had a population of 92 students making a sample size of 46 students in each of the groups. The design of the study was a pretest posttest quasi experimental research design.
