Narrative Inquiry in Some Brazilian Landscapes: Stories of Teaching and Constructing Authorship

Abstract

In this paper,still a work in progress, we inquire into stories to live by within our Brazilian landscape, as two narrative inquirers who have been living and telling stories of academic writing and authorship in the fields of Teacher Education and Applied Linguistics. We hope to (re)take ourselves and the audience into our journey with our students, ir order to reflect on our experiences on writing and authourship lived at two educational institutions: a public school and a University. The stories we share in this paper express our personal practical knowledge (Clandinin and Connelly, 1995) and help us to narratively understand who we are and who we are becoming as teachers, as writers, as language instructors and as narrative inquirers.
