Stakeholders Will Miss the United Nations' Most Vital Research Conclusion on Loss of Biodiversity: Why?

Abstract

This roundtable discussion of a paper that claims most organizational stakeholders will likely miss or ignore what the presenters believe to be the most important conclusions of the recent UN Extinction Rate Report- that the necessary transformation in behalf of our survival relates to "Indigenous worldview." The question why such information is missing in media and other discussions will be engaged. This presentation coincides with the AERA launching of the 4th edition of Sage's Handbook on Critical Pedagogies which has a section on Indigenous Ways of Knowing.
