Iona Forever, a Transformational Fun-Raising Endeavor to Raise an Ambitious $150 Million for Iona College

Abstract

Iona College, a young institution of higher education founded in 1940, has launched its first comprehensive fundraising campaign called Iona Forever, with the ambitious goal of raising an ambitious $150M in philanthropy to enhance the learning and living environment on its New Rochelle, New York campus. We hypothesized that this first comprehensive campaign can be successful by ensuring the prospects and investors are philanthropic, currently give at a leadership level, are graduates from Iona’s business school currently renamed the LaPenta School of business, and finally are rated prospects as having the capacity to make large philanthropic gifts.
