The study primarily uses semi-structured interviews with 15 general education teachers to examine teachers’ knowledge and perspective about providing special education services to students. Furthermore, it taps into the teachers’ meaning making of inclusion of students with disabilities. The findings indicate that teachers support “social inclusion” of students with disabilities in the broader school community. However, teachers do not support “full inclusion” where students with disabilities (SWD) are included with their peers for both academic and not academic activities.
