Abstract

This case study explores how one teacher teaches about gender and sexuality to his U.S. History and Multicultural Perspective courses. Using a queer theory lens, I explore issues of power, positionality, and intersectionality within the classroom. The teacher makes the affirmative choice to queer curriculum and center absent narratives.
