Online Orientation and Self-Efficacy: On Serving Racially Minoritized Community College Students

Abstract

Online orientations are popular ways to introduce new community college students to college life and resources. In this paper, we examine the language of online orientation how it may facilitate self-efficacy among racially minoritized community college students. Using discourse analysis, we offer insights into the content of online orientation programs.
