Abstract

The use of cases or scenarios is one of the approaches that have been practiced in teacher education programs to connect theory and practice especially in the field of classroom management (Herrington & Oliver, 2000; Jong, Shang, Lee, Lee, & Law, 2006; Lewis, Romi & Roache, 2012). The focus of this research project was to investigate and compare the effectiveness of utilizing case based teaching method into a classroom management course through face to face (in classroom) and online (with the use of gamified online case-study tool) teaching environment.
