Online teacherpreneurs are P-12 teachers who sell resources through online educational marketplaces such as TeachersPayTeachers.com (TpT). Teacherpreneurs report that this practice positively impacts their classroom teaching; however, the factors influencing this outcome are not fully understood. The current study used data from a survey of 226 TpT sellers to understand the factors influencing teacherpreneurs’ perceived gains in teaching practice. An OLS regression indicated that teacherpreneurs’ perceived teaching gains were significantly predicted by gender, level of education, collaboration with other teachers, entrepreneurial activity, and leadership perceptions, regardless of TpT earnings. Dominance analyses supported these findings. We conclude that online teacherpreneurship offers a teacher-driven approach for professional reskilling through leadership, and collaborative and entrepreneurial activities.
