Institutional Capital and the Student Experience in Higher Education

Abstract

This qualitative study examines the students experience through the lens of institutional capital. We utilized data from focus groups and interviews. Our findings are presented in two themes. These findings demonstrate the inequitable distribution of social capital within institutions of higher education and the impact on students.
