The purpose of this paper is to share the results of interviews with ten key administrators at Hispanic Serving Community College in California. The paper is part of a mixed methods evaluation of services provided to students who are categorized as “undocumented” and/or “DACAmented.” Interview results are bolstered by student surveys and participant observations throughout an academic term and relies on sensemaking as a framework for understanding administrator perceptions and actions.
